THE EXTRAPHYSICALLIA mastered at Cutting Room studio:
The OF THE ARCHAENGEL debut album “The Extraphysicallia", has been delayed due to the fact that it will mastered at The Cutting Room studio (AMON AMARTH, OPETH, GORGOROTH, PAIN, PARADISE LOST, CHROME DIVISION) in Sweden.
Commented the band: "When we received the news about the delay, of course, we weren't very happy. After all, we had booked the release of 'The Extraphysicallia' in a concert with OPETH in São Paulo, and it looked like a wasted opportunity, but when we heard the reason, everything else was meaningless! We are very happy with the attention that we are receiving from our label, specially when we remember the lack of interest of Brazilian labels."

At April ,05th the band played as support act on the Opeth´s unique concert in Brazil (São Paulo) where the opportunity was used to capture the band´s performance alive in a footage that probably will be the main material for the first band´s official promotional video.

ROTTING CHRIST´s vocalist in guest apparition:
ROTTING CHRIST's vocalist Sakis Tolis recorded vocals for OF THE ARCHAENGEL's first album. Entitled “The Extraphysicallia”, the debut of these brazilian dark metallers had its recordings finished recently and shall be released in April, through the Greek label Sleaszy Rider Records.
Sakis will be featured as guest vocalist on the track “Water Flows Through The Slimy Walls”.
Greek label Sleaszy Rider signs OF THE ARCHAENGEL:
OF THE ARCHAENGEL is the last signing of the Greek's #1 underground label Sleaszy Rider Records. The band's debut album will have a large worldwide distribution and its release date is set to the first 2009 months. Sleaszy Rider is also the home of band's as Ancient (Nor) and On Thorns I Lay.

One of the most exciting things in the music business is to discover some great, but unknown bands, it's like finding some hidden jewels...And listening for first time to this- unknown for me till then- band Of The Archaengel, it was a huge surprise. OF THE ARCHAENGEL & PARADISE LOST:
At November 8th the band played as support act in the Paradise Lost unique concert in Brazil (São Paulo).
We was pleased with this amazing chance and the reasons go beyond the fact of playing together with this true British legend, but mainly for the opportunity to present by the first time the songs from our upcoming album for a big and selected audience.
New “ARCHAENGEL” in the field:
We are proud to announce that Kleber Fabianni is the newest OF THE ARCHAENGEL lead guitar player replacing Timo Kaarkoski.
Kleber it’s a graduated musician and make its premiere with the band at the gig with Paradise Lost on the last November. He was previously a member of the old and legendary Brazilian metal band Harppia. Welcome to the clan brother!

OF THE ARCHAENGEL enter studio and starts to record new album
In the last July 13, OF THE ARCHAENGEL enter in studio to record their “debut” full lenght album without a title till this moment.
The recordings are taking place at Scremin Studio in São Paulo-Brazil, a studio where recently was recorded the solo album of the current André Mato's band guitar player André Hernades.
“We will use at the OA album some studio techniques shared by the producer Roy -Z (Bruce Dickinson, Judas Priest, Halford) in his last Brazilian visitation, and the expactations of course is to obtain an excepcional result to this project” says Gus Scremin producer and sound engineer.
“After extense research, we decided to work with Gus and his studio because of its extreme musical refinement and its experience on working with high-level productions. In fact this points are requirements and are needs of our songs since we work with a lot of musical elements and it's not that simple to make all of this sounds good, clearly and in accordance on what we idealize for the album as final result” says Alex, the band former of the group.

In April, OF THE ARCHAENGEL have their name highlighted by being part of interviews in 2 European publications.
The first one is the alternative Portuguese magazine ELEGY IBERICA were is featured a full page interview in this 09 issue where the band gives with exclusivity the first details on its future release to come this year.
The extreme magazine 7 GATES OF HELL also leave the Archaengelic speech reaches the Polish metalheads at its #21 through a 1.1/2 page interview.

OF THE ARCHAENGEL welcomes new Finnish guitar player.
Brazilian metallers OF THE ARCHAENGEL have announced their new line-up and welcome new guitarist, Timo Kaarkoski.
Timo, who was born in Helsinki, Finland now officially has the position of guitarist, which was left by Alex Rodrigues, who will be in charge of the band's vocals on live performances.
Timo comments: "For me it was a great surprise to find a band making the kind of sound which OF THE ARCHAENGEL does, and the most unexpectable thing is that I discovered it through a Finnish fan of them, and when I knew that there was an opportunity to join the band I immediately got interested and now we are here to rock on!"
With this change the Of the Archaengel's line-up features: Alex Rodrigues - vocals, - Timo Kaarkoski - lead guitars, Paulo Moura - guitars / keyboards, Lucas Barone - bass and Pedro Alzaga - drums.
Of The Archaengel is formed from the ashes of LETHAL CURSE, which began the activities in 1992.
